NOTE: The best fighters in the world pound for pound are ranked here on Liverpuncher.com. We believe that ring accomplishments mean more than anything when ranking fighters so we decided to wait for the outcome of many of the big fights before doing another update. Some may rank a fighter based on what they think he has the potential to do, but until that fighter proves what he can do against other elite fighters, he won’t be found on this pound for pound list. These mythical pound for pound boxing rankings always spark up heated debates amongst boxing fans, post yours up in the forum!

PERHAPS, MAYBE THERE IS STILL A LANGUAGE BARRIERS BUT WE ALL KNOW WHAT HE WANTS TO SAY...BEAT 'EM UP TIL' HE DROPS HARD ON THE DECK !!!.. HE IS A MAN OF HONOR, AND IN MY LIFETIME I DID LIVE IT TO SEE A PERSON WHO WOULD CHANGE THE WORLD OF ASIAN COMMUNITIES WORLDWIDE... IT IS FOR THE LOVE OF THE COUNTRY, HONOR, AND DISCIPLINE HE PREVAILS. HIS HEART LIVES WITH HIS PEOPLE...

Manny has won enough "money" to leave boxing and not wait for the humiliation of defeat - it always exact a heavy toll on one's spirit no matter what people say - it is more so when you have reached Manny's status as the #1 p4p boxer - and even here many will disagree. If you really want to know who gave Manny the real 'nightmare', it's Juan Manuel Marquez. Manny's won fights against him are highly debatable - many thinks (including me) Marquez won those two fights. It takes a Lennox Lewis' class to say "I control myself, not others - not even the allurement of mega $$$$ and PRIDE that has "controlled" many) - TO ME THAT IS THE BEST P4P fighter - with WISDOM added.

Manny, retire with good health and enjoy the money you have with your loved ones ... at the end of the day, this is what truly counts - time spent with your loved ones - longer, healthier, fuller, life, and in your old age, you'd still be okay - HEALTH is WEALTH - and be CONTENT .... As it is, with your status, the danger that lurks all around you is to be tempted to so many un-Godly influence which will destroy you - lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes, and the pride of life..... Manny, I am proud of you but be wise and take heed .... this is a caring kababayan's advise. No malice intended. In every endeavors, there is always a consequence and it is most profound in the 'hurt' business - it may not be noticeable now but truth is - it always takes its TOLL.

Cotto tenth is a joke, he fought his ass off in his defeat. No where did he ever show less than his best in every fight. A true warrior at all times who is willing to risk it all again against the very man who took him out. He deserves a spot in the top 5 for sure.

I still dont understand how Ricky Hatton is on the pound for pound list. He lost fights to Juan Lazcano and Luis Collazo. He has a disgusting style almost like John Ruiz. Hit and hold. J.M. Marquez should be #2 since he is the only fighter to recently be able to handle Manny. He also destroyed Juan Diaz. Why is Sloppy Joe on the list? He's retired. Antonio Margarito should also be off the list since he is a fraud and cheater. Joan Guzman should not be on the list. I have heard many people say that he is a pound for pound fighter. He is very INACTIVE and has not fought too many top quality opponents. Hopefully soon. Israel Vasquez is inactive but for a legitimate excuse. Not for missing weight. Besides, he gave us one of the best trilogies ever so give him a break.
