24/7 Pacquiao vs Cotto Part 2 - Team Cotto Reveals "Secrets", Prez on HBO?
Liverpuncher.com Reviews Pacquiao Cotto 24/7 Part 2!
1. Many have
wondered where Michael Moore has been lately, well apparently he tossed out two
Philippine governors visiting Manny at the gym. Roach said
Moore could be back at Wild
Card, but I think an ambassadorship to the
Philippines is out of the question.
2. Pacquiao
packs one hell of a punch - political punch that is. In this episode not only did Pacquiao have
groups of female fans jumping for a chance to catch a glimpse of him walking
through the mall, but the president of the
Philippines also appeared in a
segment saying how Pacquiao is an “inspiration”. Will Barack Obama come out and do the same
for Cotto? Don’t hold your breath.
3. We asked
the question last week, “Is Pacquiao losing focus in camp?” and this time we saw
sparring partners Shawn Porter and Jose Luis Castillo giving Pacquiao a
wallop. Roach let him have an earful
saying “if you go easy in sparring, you will go easy in the fight”. I’m sure Team Cotto loved that scene.
4. We got a
glimpse of what team Cotto has been doing for the past 6 weeks at 4:45 AM
Monday through Saturday - road work. Everyone on the team joined the run and no one complained. Now that is unity. But why wasn't anyone running with him? At least Pacquiao has his trusty dog "Pacman."
5. Great
thing about 24/7 is we get to see what the fighters do on their off time. We saw Pacquiao singing nervously on Philippine
national TV and Cotto shanking balls on a golf course. Guys, stick to your day job.
6. Michael
Konz, Pacquiao’s advisor continues to have friction with trainer Alex
Ariza. At one point Ariza says “Other
than getting his dry cleaning and making decisions like Manny’s phone carrier,
Konz serves no purpose in camp.” One has
to wonder how much longer Konz will be around.
7. Cotto did
some sparring in this episode, but HBO only showed black and white still photos
of the action as to not give away any secrets. But in the very next scene, Team Cotto is watching tapes of Marquez v
Pacquiao and listing how Pacquiao drops his right hand and can be setup for a perfect left hook. All this while little Cotto is taking notes on a pad. Way to keep things under wraps guys!
8. Pacquiao
arrived at the Wild Card gym and he seemed to be much more focused and at ease
with himself in the familiar surroundings. Or perhaps he was just showing off for his promoter Bob Arum who was
seen looking on during the training. I'm sure Roach is happy to be home and at the wild card once again.

I dont think Cotto is much bigger than Pacquiao during thr fight. Lets remember they will come at catchweight of 145 lbs. So theres no difference in weight. If Cotto add more food during the fight then he will be in problem. On the other side, Pacquiao loves to hit the head 20 to 50 times until he gets dizzy. this is what happens to Dela Hoya fighting in front of Pacquiao like a statue.
i think Cotto's power punch is going to be the key of this fight....Paquiao is a great figther but this is not his regular weigth ,he is visiting Cotto's house and this is his biggest challenge...the best warrior is going to win
