Just when
you thought the Super 6 Tournament couldn’t get any better, Showtime has
announced they will be doing their own version of HBO’s 24/7 series named "Fight
Camp 360°: Inside The Super Six World Boxing Classic."
The first
episode focuses on how the fights were made. It shows the behind the scenes meetings of all the promoters and how
they came to terms for the Tournament.
"The round-robin nature of this tournament lends itself to a
story arc and fight progression that has never before been seen in
boxing," said Showtime's Ken Hershman, who put the tournament together.
"This series will set itself apart by chronicling each man through that
progression. No one knows where each story will lead, but our cameras will be
there every step of the way.
not just
through training camp, but also during the moments leading up to their fights,
in their corners during each bout and in the aftermath of the fights.”
By Javier Reyes(bodysnatcher) - In this day and age it seems like everyone in boxing is a champion or a former champion. There are so many belts in boxing that is hard to keep track of them. However, among all of these belts, there are four belts that have managed to gain a little more respect than the rest. Now days you have the WBC, IBF, WBA and whether people like it or not the WBO. With four major belts in each division (and now also interim belts) it’s hard to believe that any top fighter out there can go an entire career without ever winning one.
Well believe it or not David Tua has never held a major heavyweight title… Click for More!

By Delon Britton (grampro) - A lot of
people seem to forget that with anything you do you have to have a certain
skill level to do and complete your work. Whether you are a carpenter, a construction
worker, an architect the list can go on, but you work on a skill level to get
things done right.
Boxing is
the perfect example of using skill to achieve the desired effect. People who
don't appreciate good technical skilled fighters are not on a certain conscious
mind level to really understand the mastery it takes to be not only victorious
but safe to fight another day.
That being
said, I want to touch on one fighter who people love to rip into and that is
none other than Floyd Mayweather. Read on for more…
