As reported by the Nevada State Athletic Commission Floyd Mayweather will earn $22.5 million to fight Shane Mosley this Saturday.  This does not include the percentage of pay-per-view and endorsement revenue Mayweather would earn. 

Golden Boy Promotions CEO, Richard Schafer, has noted that the event is the most promoted fight he has been involved with and is expecting “3 million pay-per-view buys”.  This would break the all time record set by Oscar De La Hoya vs. Floyd Mayweather.

By MannyLP - While many others are asking the so called “experts” of boxing who will win Mosley vs. Mayweather, we believe boxing fans are the true experts with prediction records to prove it.  I’ve compiled a list in no particular order of several predictions below (including my own, MannyLP) to see what fans are saying.  Truth is a large majority, 77% are picking Mayweather to win.

The verbal jabs are getting sharper as the fight between Shane Mosley and Floyd Mayweather inches closer.  This time Floyd went straight for the jugular and reminded Shane Mosley that he may be going to jail very soon for allegedly lying under oath about knowingly taking performance enhancing drugs.

Floyd said to the Grand Rapids Press, “We do know this: We know that Shane lies under oath.  So we know one thing that is going to happen. After suffering his first lost at the hands of Mikkel Kessler, Carl Froch is threatening to walk away from the Super Six tournament unless his next fight is guaranteed to take place in Britain.

After winning the WBA heavyweight crown two times the first Latino heavyweight champion, John “The Quiet Man“ Ruiz announced his retirement.  Many people wrote him off after David Tua knocked him out in the first round, however Ruiz went on to win a title after the loss.  His last fight was against David Haye, where Ruiz was knocked out in an attempt to regain his title.  The former champ issued a statement below…
