Carl Froch Threatens To Leave Super Six Tournament E-mail
After suffering his first lost at the hands of Mikkel Kessler, Carl Froch is threatening to walk away from the Super Six tournament unless his next fight is guaranteed to take place in Britain.

"I am adamant that the next fight, with Arthur Abraham, will be taking place in Britain. I won't be fighting in Germany, it's as simple as that," Froch said….read on for more

"It would mean me pulling out of the tournament if they forced me to fight in Berlin. So I want to get that straight from the start: it has already been agreed that I would fight at home, fight away and a fight back at home. It has been agreed with Ken Hershman at Showtime (Super Six organisers).”  Read on for more…

"So my fight with Abraham is in England or the fight is not happening and will make a mockery of the tournament. It's as simple as that."

In front of a partisan Danish crowd, home favourite Kessler impressed all three judges and was awarded the fight 117-111, 115-113 and 116-112 as Froch lost his unbeaten record.

"As the Super Six World Boxing Classic rolls on and gets more interesting, a win against Abraham puts me in the semi-final and then there is the final. I can still be undisputed champion in my next three fights, let's not forget that. This fight is going to make me stronger, better and more determined," he added.

I agree with dipsta 100%. The Kessler fight was a good fight and Froch proved that he has a lot of heart and toughness, but he lost a close fight. I don't know what the majority of the press and Al Green were seeing but I don't see how that fight could've gone to Froch. Granted I have the luxury of being able to rewind but even in the close rounds a lot of Frochs punches were blocked by Kesslers gloves. Froch landed the flashier shots but Kessler was more aggressive, threw more, landed more, controlled positioning better, and flat out fought a great fight. If Froch is going to bitch about unfair scoring then he should've handed his belt to Dirrell after their fight.

I didn't used to like Froch because of the shit he talked about Calzaghe, who would've annihilated Froch, but lately I began thinking he's alright. Maybe that was preemptive. Hopefully he'll change his tune. You can't be a world champ and not be willing to fight on foreign soil. Against Abraham Froch is the challenger and doesn't have the right to dictate the venue. If he wants the title he has to go fight for it and win convincinlgy enough that it can't be disputed. Dirrell knew this...

styles make fights, i thought Kessler won by a point. But, it was a close fight could have gone either way....No way, Froch beats Abraham. It would be a slugfest and Abraham is much more polished, stronger, hits harder and better defense.

For sure you can refuse to fight on foreign soil, if that foreign soil just so happens to be Germany and if it was already stipulated that Froch would fight alternatingly at home then away then at home again!! not too many foreigners get a fair shake over in Gemany!!Home advantage has already proven to be massive in this tournament, not 1 fight so far has gone to the travelling camp!

Keesler won fair and square, after AA's last performance in the states against Dirrelland related controversy, a fight in America would be akin to a home advantage considering how much Abraham has alienated himself to the slightly over sensitive American fight community with that Dirrell dq.

I hope it doesnt get cancelled, it could be the battle of the tournament so far, they're definitely the 2 most rugged operators in the tournament by a stretch!!

I dont see it as a good match!. I think Abe stops Frotch in 6!.
I think all the drama is cus of his first loss. He'll overcome it and fight. If not then bring on replacement. How about bringing BUTE in the tourney? I approve!
