Cotto vs Clottey June13th...finally??

By- radimmortal18 Reports are coming out that WBO welter weight champion Miguel Cotto will be facing IBF welter weight champion Joshua Clottey for a unification bout at Madison Square Garden June 13th, 2009.

Joshua Clottey is currently on vacation but is making it known that he will be the man to step into the ring with Cotto in for the June slot.

The two fighters are both represented by Bob Arum's Top Rank Promotions and are set to meet

at the Puerto Rican Day Parade. Cotto is coming off of a recent strong performance via 5th round TKO of Jennings in which he won the vacated WBO title.

Clottey has a 9th round TD over Zab Judah that took place last August in which he obtained the IBF title.
