Mayweather Mosley blood test results was made public and it appears that the last day of blood extraction was made at least 18 days before the fight, and they (USADA) have cleared both fighters of any illegal drug use. The purpose of random blood testing which Mayweather demanded is to cleanup the sport, but having USADA stopped the blood extraction 18 days before the fight did not fully served its purpose. How can anyone tell that Mosley or Mayweather really did not use any illegal drugs during that 18 day period. Do we just scare those fighters that testing could come their way anytime so that they will hopefully prevent from using illegal drugs. How do we really know, no way unless they have tested both fighters a day within the period of detection. The purpose of Mayweather of cleaning up the sport was definitely defeated. |

nabrusim - you simple have no f'n idea what the f you're talking about! for certain drugs like steroids 30 to 14 days out is the perfect time to test because that's when a fighter would be taking drugs like that so they actually have the desired effect.. to build strength that the fighter will carry into the ring. other drugs like EPO you want to be testing in the 2-3 weeks prior and right up to the fight.. people seem to have this misconception that these drugs are used to give direct effect on performance in the ring when they don't.. the aid in prep for the event to build the fighter up are are used PRIOR to the fight.. so then that's when you have to test.. fight night or after the fight like pacquioa wanted is completly useless since those drugs will be long gone out of a fighter on a proper program by fight night since they server on useful purpose on fight night.. |

Mayweather and Manny will fight each other. But the truth is if they don't Mayweather has far more options than Manny because he could move up and fight Martinez, Williams or Cotto (provided Cotto wins). Manny can fight Berto or Bradley and that's about it as far as people willing to watch. Either way Pac n May have to fight or spend there day's with much smaller pay days and an unhappy fan base. |

i find it crazy that manny is not being critisized for not fighting these guys. bradley fight would be a good one. if clottey can get a shot and yuri can get a shot no reason why berto should not get one. if u are going up to 147 why not fight martinez the best at that weight.or go down and face alexander. every b.s fight he does and every big ppv match floyd does the worst manny looks. lets see who they both fight at the end of year since it probably wont be each other. |

PacMan agreed on the 14 days cut off date for the reason we wan't him to and thats to fight mayweather. Everything else was agree upon on, ring size,purse split,gloves and weight! So now that the 14 days cut off date was agreed on, theres no way this couldn not happen, unless mayweather is really scared to fight! The usada is American and mayweather is American so of course the usada will back him for that. It is known that both parties have ties withe ach other. Is it true? At this moment it's very true. "Random" my ass, if that was true they would of drug test both fighters close to the fight! Cause fighting someone in drugs or hand raps is really not fair special when u playing and getting somewhere clean. The sport just needs to make it fair all around. Make a standarized policy on drug testing. Look at the baseball community, football, and others. Make a decision already and if then dont comply strip title if a title holder with a year suspension, if non-title holder 1yr suspension w/ a fine. Maybe like that the sport can get cleaned up.... |
