I think Shane is a great fighter,the past is just that,the past. He could beat Money with Nazs Training. one thing that you are failing to see Ray Shanes best performance is against Margarito. The performance was (steriod free).You are only as good as your last fight and Shane has found his love for the sport again. May wont beat Shane cuz May wont sighn the contract.All of the past bs. and rumers dont mean squat. We were not there so we can only go on the fact that May was called out in public in front of millions and will probly still not fight Shane. They know what others see : Shane Mosley is very angry and dangerous, look Cottos win was so close and that was before Shane hooked up with Naz, Floyd wont beat the newly motivated Shane. He is alittle too strong for May. |

Look Ray I like Floyds skill,and Shanes but the fact is when Floyd throws the lead right he either waits for a receit or leans back to avoid punches,Shane would chase the lean with combos.Floyd Coulnt ko a lightweight! Shane Kod Mr. Ironchin Margarito! Im telling you that Shanes Power will put Floyd in alot of trouble! Floyd knows this! Yo man, great interview...Hopkins is laying it out. Keep May off balance, speed is right. Plus Naz would help him out in the corner most def. Steroids I don't think were used when Mosley lit up Margarito. And Im sure Mosely will Lite up Berto too. The 3 guys who beat shane have one thing in common, they are bigger welterweights than him. Mosley vs. Mayweather is an even fight IMO. BOth are fast as hell but I think Mosley has a bit more power |

Hey dumbasses, I hear all these excuses afterward, but how come you picked the dude to win in the first place? Same thing will happen here, pre fight, they'll say Shane's gonna kill him, post fight, they'll say Shane was too old or Floyd cheated or something, or the ref helped Floyd. Mosley's a LITTLE bigger and stronger, but Floyd's is much smarter and a better technician. Yes Shane's fast, but it really doesn't matter, Floyd is too smart and can adjust to anything. Mosley couldn't put down Cotto, who is a punching bag, how the hell is he gonna connect flush enough to drop a defensive wizard like Floyd when he couldn't even drop Cotto. Matter of fact, Judah shook Cotto up worse than Shane did. |

Also Cotto never beat Shane, he was running in the last round,that is part of the reason he coulnt drop Cotto. Polatics at hbo gave the fight to Cotto thinking that they would make more money off the younger fighter. Everyone Knows this.I will admit that it was close but in close fights the younger or undefeted most often gets the nod. |

Sounds like Bernards plan to beat Mayweather is to hit him with Nazim Richardson. Mayweather won't fight Mosley, he's too tough and dangerous. A typical next fight for Floyd would be Paulie, or maybe even Sergio Mora. Do you see the similiarities? |

I agree Homer, he needs a oponent but he is painting himself into a corner saying he is the best. Hell have to fight a good name but somone respected or the fight wont sell.The name that comes to mind is Andre Berto or Luis Callazo, Andre can sell a fight, does not hit too hard but hell have to work in that fight to win,if he fights Berto then he is fighting for a title,respect and to silence people that dont think he takes hard fights. And its winnable for the Money man.Then he can stay sharp and wait for the winner of pac cotto. If he can get by Pac then he can fight Sugar for the real P4P. |

The Berto fight actually makes some sense because both guys are known for not taking the tough fights, with Mayweather having a LOT less to prove. I don't see it happening either. |

The real difrence between Oscar and Floyd is that Oscar would actully look for that type fight instead of running from it, Remember Oscar fought Shane in his prime Twice. |
