Final League Fight: Calzaghe v B Hop! E-mail
HBO Sports presents a light heavyweight fight six years in the making when World Championship Boxing: Bernard Hopkins vs. Joe Calzaghe is seen live SATURDAY, APRIL 19 from The Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, exclusively on HBO.  This will be the last fight of the fantasy league season, the polls close at  4 pm PST  so get your predictions in right away.

So far, only 30% of Liverpuncher members predictions have been for a Bernard Hopkins (48-4-1, 32 KOs) win over Joe Calzaghe (44-0, 32 KOs).  Some like jmbc_numba1 have said that Hopkins will win because Calzaghe is fighting in the USA for the first time and will have what one might call a home court advantage.  While others like wxc85 simply think that Calzaghe's speed will make the difference in the fight.

League Champ To Be Named

Its been a long season with great fights and after this we will crown a champion for the season.   As mentioned several times, to be eligable for the championship you must have the minimum number of posts in the forum, 40 for new members and 80 for those that participated last season.  This is to help ensure that people simply dont create multiple user names and so we can have a vibrant community on the site with plenty of boxing insight from our members.

Some of the leaders below currently dont have the number of posts required, so get your opinions in the forum before its too late.
