Seriously... floyd already got himself a belt at 154... and floyd took that belt weighing 147 in the fight (so much for floyd only fighting smaller guys).. against an Oscar that probably weighed around 165 on fight night. THAT's floyd fighting oscar with an almost 20 lb weight advantage.. welterweight against a super middle weight (3 weight classes up). that's unlike the catch weight king pac-a-roids that got an older, diminished Oscar to melt himself down to 147 (a weight he hadn't fought at for 10 years) and manny actually weighed a pound more than oscar on fight night.. that's a little perspective.. |

Clottey is a really good fighter, very underated and he has a chin of granite and hits damn hard.. and is a fairly good counter puncher. i actually give him a good chance in against pac-a-roids.. Clottey's big problem is that he loses concentration in fights and forgets to pull the trigger.. so frustrating to watch! Clottey is also not too defensively minded and that's likely why they picked him. they might have f'd up though because they are not going to be able to hurt and tire clottey like they did to cotto.. even if pac-a-roids does manage to beat clottey his manny's is going to look like it went through a meat grinder at the end of it.. but i guess if you've got a good roid rage going, who knows downed some fish tranquillizers, PCP.. whatever he can get his hands on i guess he's not going to feel a thing... lol.. |
