What good technicians has he faced? Marquez was a good tactician, but fairly slow. And he brought Pac to hell and back. The only way to even make Mayweather think twice is a long strong dominant jab. Manny has A LOT of flaws, and you know where you can notice them?? in the Clottey fight, that fight was obviously rigged, why? cause if you watch it carefully Clottey exposed Manny's weaknesses numerous times and didn't capitalize for no reason. i'm gonna list them out: 1- Manny's head is an easy target (Cotto and Clottey showed this) 2- Look at what happened everytime Clottey stepped on Manny's foot or cut the ring on Manny's right side, if you cut the ring with Manny he loses it. (note that Mayweather doesn't come in with jabs he jumps LEFT with a hook, this punch Manny will never see and will be key to Floyd's victory) 3- Manny doesn't have patience, Cotto rnd10-11, and the whole Clottey fight, Manny gets frustrated by good defense VERY EASILY, and we all know who is the defense king. 4- The very few times Manny and Clottey exchanged blows, Clottey won the exchanges because of height and reach, he just leaned back and countered since Manny's short hands couldn't reach the target. (note Floyd has like 2 or 3 inches of reach over Clottey) in the end, well there's no way Manny can beat Floyd, he doesn't have the ring generalship, mentality, or strength to do it. |

I think Floyd beats Manny fairly handily.I also think Freddie has a point here.I felt that even before Floyds retirement that I seen signs that his wheels werent just as quick as they were.That doesn`t mean his legs are gone though,far from it.But Floyd being an eighth of a step slower on his toes than when he fought Diego Corralles still doesn`t give Pacquiao enough of a chance.Freddie is clutching at straws and I think he knows it himself. This fight will happen. You guys are all getting played by both Teams. Both men are cash cows. Both men do not plan on retiring in the very near future. Look for this fight after Floyd gets 2 to 4 more paychecks. Floyd will take a tune up fight after his legal troubles. Then he will fight 1 or 2 top contenders. Then he will fight Manny. Look for Manny to stay active and fight 2 fights per year until Mayweather feels its time to to go all in I dont know why people dont see this. If they fight each other now one has to lose. Then the loser becomes less marketable. |
