147 IS NOT A CATCH WEIGHT. 147 is the welterweight limit. the fight is for pacmans belt. they can not fight for pacman's belt at 154 so he couldnt ask for that wieght. he could only as for 141 to 147 like i said b4 roach is full of shit. you can only fight for the belt between 141 to 147. and i think mayweather asked for the bigger gloves because he uses them for his defence. pacman uses 8 ounce because of his style of fighting. works better for him. has nothing to do with being a coward. every figher has gloves that work better for his style. |

In my opinion Floyd looked terrible at 150 against Oscar and it seemed like the 10oz. gloves in that fight slowed him down, so I don't know why in the world he would ask for 10oz. gloves and 154 as the weightclass against the most dangerous fighter in the world. This puts both fighters at a disadvantage if you ask me. I'm totally confused. They need to fight at 147 and Pac should be able to wear whatever gloves he feels comfortable in and Mayweather should do the same. Cut all this b.s. out! |
