he wont fight margarito again. wraps or not margarito took cotto's manhood that night. made him drop to his kneesssss. he would have to go through a lot mentaly in order to fight margarito again. we saw what pacman did to cotto. margarito came toward him the same way. and cotto couldnt hurt margarito. cotto cant win that fight. i am glad he is starting to think about his health and his future though. abrum doesnt give a damn about that guy. to him cotto is just a cash cow that he is trying to milk untill dry. he cant take too much more of those beatings. he wont stay retired long. best thing to do, take at least 8 to 10 months off. get a new trainer, fight a few class b fighters. make 20 to 30 more mill. fight margarito 2 to 3 years from now and retire. |

alex santillan - fortunately for mayweather, he's not a 'tough guy'.. his a highly skill, technically perfect, incredibly fast, counter puncher.. how did pacquiao fair the last time he faces a highly technical, counter puncher.. that was much smaller, slower and less skilled than mayweather (i.e. Marquez).. he got a draw with knocking marquez down 3 times, then he got a split decision victory.. that's how pacqiao does against a slower, smaller, less skilled version for a fighter like mayweather.. how do you think he'll fair against the real thing? may guess is not too good. there has also been a lot of mayweather killers.. ALL have failed.. that's not true for manny... a diciplined Morales also beat him... pacquiao fans are in for a heavy does of reality if Pacquiao ever signs for this fight... mayweather has agreed.. it's manny that needs to man up now! and stop with the excuses. |

Mayweather isn't going to want to trade punches, he's going to want to pop shot. An old Oscar De La Hoya was giving this man trouble with a jab..a jab! And the reason why he lost was because he was tired, body shots can do that to you but there were so few in that fight from Mayweather, mainly a head hunter with most of his shots hitting the glove. Oscar basically quit from the 8th round on to just look at Mayweather and get his butt whipped. Hopefully Pacquiao can take notes from the Jose Luis Castillo and Oscar's book and mix them up into his own legacy because everything has a weakness, even Floyd has bad habits that have been exposed. |

Most of the punches trying to land on Oscar were hitting his gloves as well Bolo, I seen the same fight you did. Oscar was an old man going into that fight. Just because Mayweather's gloves make a big *pop* noise doesn't mean it landed. Everybody has bad habits and traits Bolo, no one is invincable, that's what Freddy Roach and there team is there to look for, bad habbits that they're meant to exposed. Funny thing that you're not talking trash about the Jose Luis Castillo fight like you felt so strongly about Oscar, people which I do not agree with thought Oscar won that fight... I do tip my hat for him beating Ricky Hatton in a convincing matter, but I'm sick of Floyd's shit of making guys balloon in weight of having to do so just like he's going to make Pacquiao. I think the 10oz gloves will support Pacquiao's punches and punches than it will Mayweather, I advise Mayweather to start countering with more shots than just 1 pop shot. |

what are you talking about, the only guy that had to go up in weight to fight him was marquez. hatton was a welterweight. they fought at welterweight. mayweather had to go up in weight to fight oscar. mayweather has been the one actually going up in weight to fight guys. so what fights did guys have to baloon up to fight him that you are talking about. fight night mayweather was only 148 for delahoya fight. delahoya was 160 pounds. delahoya only landed 21 % of his punches. landed only 24 % of power punches. mayweatherlanded 43% of punches and landed ******** 57%*********** of power punches. like i said his head was being bent back the entire fight. so please name all these fighters that quote had to baloon up to fight him. mayweather beats oscar, oscar is a old man, pacman beats oscar pacmans the greats thing on earth. witch is it, gota choose cant be both |
