Roy Jones vs Bernard Hopkins Rematch Is On! E-mail
After 17 years of wating, Roy Jones Jr. vs. Bernard Hopkins will fight again on April 17, according to a report on ESPN.

Despite Jones losing his last fight to Danny Green by first round stoppage the two were able to come to terms for a fight they both wanted.  The winner of the fight will receive a higher percentage of the purse split.

"The only thing I can say about the structure of the deal is …read on for more

that there is still a substantial financial benefit to the guy who wins by knockout," Schaefer reportedly said.

"The interesting thing is the conversations never died down.  Even after Bernard won and Roy lost, the talks continued and different options were evaluated. But I just felt from talking to Bernard and from the conversations I had with John that they really wanted to fight each other.

"I think there is so much at stake for these guys. This is an event they have been waiting for 17 years. They would not let anything get in the way of getting this fight finally done. I believe very strongly that at this point in their careers, after everything they have accomplished, I think this is a well-deserved fight for these two guys to finally get it on April 17. Love 'em or hate em, they are two of the most recognized names in the sport of boxing."

Maybe one more beating for Roy will clean his shitty played out self absobed asshole ego of his once and for all and we dont have to hear him brag about being the greatest and then watch him get stomped like a narc at a bicker rally, maybe just mayby. B-hop is still great but fight Chad or go to heavy already. Look guys its time for the young men to rize and shine, why not them have a chance in the light? The chance of me paying for this fight is the same chance that we get a prez that aint a FCN LIAR.
