Shane Mosley Talks About Mayweathers Mind Games

We all know that Floyd Mayweather is not just a master boxer, but he knows how to play mind games with his opponent.

Against Oscar De La Hoya, Mayweather did such things as steal De La Hoya’s gym bag while the two were on press tour and later said to Oscar, “Yeah I did it, come do something about it the day of the fight”. Read on for more…

This was just one example of what Oscar later admitted was a tactic Floyd used to get under his skin. The purpose, Oscar explained was to make him want to take Floyd’s head off and attack from the opening bell so that Floyd could use his defensive wizardry and counterpunching style to win the fight.

Floyd Mayweather is apparently trying to do the same with Shane Mosley. Mayweather has brought up the issue of Mosley’s divorce in several interviews, however Mosley hasn’t been phased by it. In fact Mosley is spinning it around on Mayweather and calling him out on personal issues like Mayweather’s finances. What’s more is that several people surrounding Mosley, including Richard Schaffer and the staff at HBO have said they haven’t seen Mosley this excited to fight since Mosley's first fight with De La Hoya.

The two will not meet in the ring until May 1st however the truth is the fight has already started.
