Taylor KO'd, Froch Wins - Fantasy League Update! E-mail
The Super Six started off with a bang this weekend.  Arthur Abraham vs. Jermain Taylor started as many expected but didn’t end as such.  With Jermain looking fresh early on with the jab, it appeared as if it had little effect on the peek-a-boo defense of Arthur Abraham.  Abraham appeared to land with much more conviction and with Taylor slowing down, give him more opportunities to land heavy shots.
With merely 15 seconds left in the last round, Abraham threw the left hook right hand combo between the peek-a-boo guard of Taylor sending him down and out.

predictions.  Schlup mentioned, “This will be an old fashion beat down as Taylor runs out of gas again.”  Newcomer Boxin101 knew the KO shot was coming, it was a matter of time, “Taylor will out work Abraham the first couple rounds, but he'll get caught with a clean hard shot!”  Cesar247 knew the last half of the fight was key for Abraham to pounce, “Taylor's biggest problem is his stamina in the late rounds and I truly expect for Abraham to take advantage of that fact.”  ian79nog simply pointed out “King Arthur is too strong for Jermain "no stamina" Taylor.”

Oracle of the Week

Chingatumadrecabron 7-1 had a prediction on the actual PUNCH that would ultimately do the KO damage, “Lightsout for Taylor again. He fades and he eats a straight right hand.” Wow!  Great call!  For that pick we’ll make you the Oracle of the Week!

Liverpuncher member Layzie Guy with an impressive 11-3 record got the call exactly correct with a 12th round stoppage.   “Abraham fights like Winky with more power.  Remember how Winky schooled Jermain? Abraham will do the same.” Two other members john2x 8-4, and new league leader Freocious_Fred with an impressive 12-2 record called it in 12th as well…well done!

Dirrel vs. Froch

Regarding the Andre Dirrell vs Carl Froch fight many spectators felt this was a very even going fight going to the scorecards.  RubberToe88 mentioned this would be a “coin toss fight.”  Sundown220 went against the grain on this one, “my friends are picking Dirrell but I just don’t see that happening.”  And with all the boos we heard for Dirrell, mercadojglb was right in his assessment, “Dirrell hasn't been tested and it win be hard for him to win in a hostile environment.”  Great call!

Yet once again Tylor has proven me right. Taylor hasn't been him self since he got KO'D by K.Pavlik.

Once more he faded at the end and he got caught by a vicios right hand. King A is really heavy handed and I'm sure hell be one of the finalist of the tournanment. I think Taylor should start considering retirement. For some reason he doesn't react well when his hit flush and I'm thinking he should retire before he really gets hurt. He kinda reminds me of Augie Sanchez everytime these to get hit flush they black out. I actuallyy had taylor up on my score card until the KO came.

I hear Taylor is out of the hospital now and is ok. There are only so many of these type of KO's a fighter can take
