Team Chavez Jr.: “we want to fight Oscar for what he did to his dad!”
Team Chavez has said they are ready and willing for this fight with Oscar and have approached Top Rank about it. Chavez uncle has said Team Chavez is ready and willing for a fight between the “son of a legend” vs. De la hoya in the Summer of 2009. Click for more…
“This is a fight that we have always wanted,” said Team Chavez trainer, “Julio would be happy to take this fight because we have always wanted to fight Oscar for what he did to his dad. Hopefully this will happen because Oscar does not have much time in boxing, he is on his way out and it’s a fight we want.”
Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. also had a few words about Oscar.
“It doesn’t matter what happened in his last fight, De la Hoya’s name always carries lots of weight. Its true that his name may mean a little less now because no one believed Manny could beat him. I believe Oscar is not finished, simply fighting at 147 lbs was difficult since it was 9 years since he fought at that weight.”
Chavez Jr. is garbage! Even a washed up De La Hoya is gonna spank him! Lets face reality. Chavez Jr. doesn't have half the balls or talent his father had. He is a trust fund silver spoon baby. He has had only soft touches so far, and he is gonna be in WAY over his head. He ain't Pacquiao and the fight is gonna be at 154. I like the wishful thinking from Chavez Sr. fans though...
