Team Mayweather wants Random testing

A deal has yet to be reached as Bob Arum proposed using the NSAC rules and regulations to set the blood and urine testing standards.

"We will go along with what the Nevada commission decides. We will give them a blank check,” Arum said. “We want this fight to go forward.”

The Nevada commission is to meet January 19th but there are no guarantees they would change any of their current protocols or testing methods.

The Floyd Mayweather camp sees it differently.

“With all due respect to the Nevada commission, Keith Kizer has publicly gone on record and said they wouldn’t be able to handle this particular

issue at this particular time,” Ellerbe said to the Grand Rapid Press.

Manny Pacquiao is open to three blood tests. One near the time of the press conference, one 30 days prior to fight time and one after the fight. Team Mayweather wants random testing instead.

“The whole idea of doing scheduled blood and urine testing is absurd,” Ellerbe said.

Team Mayweather contends that this fight is their only focus and do not have any backup plans. Top Rank has said they would look for alternative fights, possibly with Paulie Malignaggi should this fight not be made.

abrum said they would do testing if it was held by someone other then u.s.a.d.a so they could negotiate cut off time and how testing could be done so it would not be in middle of night and so it would not be the day or few days b4 fight. mayweather agrees to this and what happens. now they will only do test if nevada commision sais they have to and they know nevada commision wont do that all they care about is urine test witch wont cover drugs such as hgh that mosley used and never tested positive because can only show up in blood test. and you pacman fans are still gona defend this joker. isnt this funny. pacman camp doing what pacmans fans have been saying mayweather camp would do. looks like someone does not want to fight or has something to hide and its not mayweather. i guess we are just gona have to wait for the mosley mayweather fight early summer.
