Q: Tell us about your book
A. Dundee: Yes, I got a book, Ill tell ya, you guys know Bert Sugar. He and I did some ESPN Classics work together, so we did a book together. I’m so pleased because it is in its fourth print. So instead of hustling a fighter, I’m now hustling a book....haha
Any fight fan will like this book, because its about boxing. I’ve been in this sport for 6 decades.
I love to meet you guys, because fight fans are a dying breed.
Q: Which weight division is the most exciting in boxing right now?
A. Dundee: ANY weight division. We need you guys to get excited. If your excited it means boxing is in good shape.
Q: What are you up to now?
A. Dundee: Jimmy Lang is a fighter I’m working with....he’s a real nice kid. He draws 4-5000 people so he excites me. People like to see him. And he fought once with a bad shoulder. He’s a credit to boxing and still fought practically one handed.
We need kids like this in every little town. The problem with my profession today is you guys don't know who the fighters are, that’s terrible because you guys need to know who they are so you can ROOT for them.
Now, its if you don't speak Russian we are in deep stuff! Now I don't got nothing against the Russians because I Luv 'em but the point is we don’t' speak the language. I say if we get 2-3 kids in the local areas ...that’s what we need!
